ADHD & EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING COACHING SERVICES

Coaching helps you identify your natural strengths and abilities. Together we will maximize your growth potential in multiple areas of your life, all while mitigating challenges.

Your coach will support you through this personal transformation. Listening to how things are going, offering constructive guidance and feedback using targeted questions.

Ultimately, helping you figure out the lessons you need to learn so you don’t repeat the same mistakes and cheer you on when things go well.

For families, coaching can help parents understand their children’s behaviors in a more positive light, enabling them to relate to their children from a more empathetic and supportive vantage point.

Typically, coaching sessions are web-based sessions using our virtual Telehealth platform.

SESSION OPTIONS INCLUDE

REGULAR ON-GOING WEEKLY SESSIONS

Our first session is a little longer, we will meet for 90 min. Then the majority of my client’s book on-going 50 min. sessions on a weekly basis. While no longterm commitment is required and you are free to leave at anytime, cancelations must be made within 48 hrs. to avoid a late cancelation fee. We will reassess progress at the 90-day mark, at that time the client may continue or we may start meeting less frequently. Ultimately, the goal is to get you to a place where you feel confident that you have the tools and strategies for success. You become able to effectively coach yourself!

Coaching is an investment. You must also be invested in doing the work! If you are seeking services for your child/teen/young adult, or a loved one with ADHD, I suggest we have 1 or 2 trial sessions to make sure that they are sufficiently motivated to participate in coaching. After a few sessions, we will be able to determine if there is sufficient buy-in and whether it’s a good fit.

Detailed Description:

Is your teenager hard to handle? Are they acting out in self-destructive ways or needing support socially? Is it hard to deal with their mood swings and the ways they demand their space?

Raising a teenager is difficult for any parent, but adding ADHD into the mix can be all the makings of a perfect storm. In my experience, teenagers are seeking guidance and support, but they just don’t know how to ask or want to be seen as “needing help.” I work from a positive framework and support them in ways that counteract that resistance. I also try to encourage them to make choices that lead them closer to their goals and pause long enough to think through the consequences of their actions. Likewise, I help teens understand the importance of communicating their needs and improving any academic/behavioral/social concerns that parents may have.
