ADHD COACHING SERVICES

Coaching helps you identify your intrinsic abilities and how to maximize these attributes in various areas of your life. Coaching can help you make a plan of action, prioritize tasks and work toward your goals in meaningful ways. Coaching also helps holds you accountable. Ultimately, you do the “real work”— the day-to-day stuff that matters for your own personal and spiritual growth. But having a coach who expects you to report back is one of the best ways to actually follow through on all this work. A good coach will listen to how things are going, offer constructive guidance using targeted questions, and help you figure out the lessons you need to learn so you don’t repeat the same mistakes and cheer you on when things go well.

For families, coaching can help parents understand their children’s behaviors in a more positive light, enabling them to relate to their children from a more empathetic and supportive vantage point.

Typically, coaching sessions are either home-based – throughout Westchester County, NY, or office-based located in Greenwich, CT, (270 Greenwich Ave., Suite #27, Greenwich, CT 06830). My private practice also offers a range of services including specialized groups and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). For long distance coaching, I also offer services over-the-phone and online (i.e. Zoom).

My standard rate for coaching is $150 per session, which includes any travel and accountability check-ins between sessions. *

**I believe that everyone regardless of income deserves high-quality coaching, therefore if finances are an issue, I’d be happy to discuss my sliding scale fee structure.

Detailed Description:

Is your teenager hard to handle? Are they acting out in self-destructive ways or needing support socially? Is it hard to deal with their mood swings and the ways they demand their space?

Raising a teenager is difficult for any parent, but adding ADHD into the mix can be all the makings of a perfect storm. In my experience, teenagers are seeking guidance and support, but they just don’t know how to ask or want to be seen as “needing help.” I work from a positive framework and support them in ways that counteract that resistance. I also try to encourage them to make choices that lead them closer to their goals and pause long enough to think through the consequences of their actions. Likewise, I help teens understand the importance of communicating their needs and improving any academic/behavioral/social concerns that parents may have.
